So, according to the formula :-  [tex]m_{1}V_{1} = m_{2}V_{2}[/tex]

And here if we consider [tex]V_{1} [/tex] as 0.1718 L moles and [tex]m_{1} [/tex]  as 0.3556 moles then we need to find [tex]V_{2} [/tex] as [tex]m_{2} [/tex]  is given as 0.1222 moles.
Hence on solving the formula we get,  

 [tex]V_{2}[/tex] = (0.1718 X 0.3556) / 0.1222 = 0.4999 L
