Whilst Hermione's (Emma Watson) cat torments Ron's (Rupert Girnt) sickly rat, causing a rift among the trio, a swarm of nasty Dementors is dispatched to shield the college from Black. A mysterious new instructor facilitates Harry learn to guard himself, but what is his mystery tie to Sirius Black.

This movie is quite dark, thematically and visually, but now not too horrifying. Kids should be capable of manage it. The plot of the film revolves around a convicted murderer escaping from prison and going after Harry, supposedly to kill him. All scenes with Dementors are pretty frightening and intense.
