Hello!
We can put in numbers for x to get points of the graph
2(-4)^2 + 16(-4) + 30 = -2
One point is (-4, -2)
2(-3)^2 + 16(-3) + 30 = 0
The next point is (-3, 0)
2(-5)^2 + 16(-5) + 30 = 0
The third point is (-5, 0)
The parabola has a vertex of (-4, -2) and goes through the points (-3, 0) and (-5, 0)
Hope this helps!

f(x)=2x²+16x+30=2(x²+8x)+30=2(x²+2*4x+16)+30-32=2(x+4)²-2
Vertex(-4,-2)
Another point, for example x-int.
2x²+16x+30 =0
2(x²+8x+15)=0
x²+8x+15=0
(x+3)(x+5)=0
x=-3, x=-5
You can take (-3,0) or (-5,0)
