First approach :
[tex]200 \times 30\% \\ = 200 \times \frac{30}{100} \\ = 60 \\ 200 - 60 = 140[/tex]

Second approach :
[tex]200 \times (100\% - 30\%) \\ = 200 \times 70\% \\ = 200 \times \frac{70}{100} \\ = 140[/tex]

You then do 70%*200 which is 140
