Consider the combustion of liquid methanol, ch3oh(l): ch3oh(l)+3/2o2(g)→co2(g)+2h2o(l)δh=−726.5kj part a what is the enthalpy change for the reverse reaction?

Respuesta :

For any reaction the enthalpy change in the forward direction and enthalpy change in reverse direction is equal in magnitude and opposite in sign .  if the enthaly change in forward direction is ( -726.5 kj )   then enthalpy change in the reverse direction must be ( +726.5 Kj)
