Bipolar disorder is defined as a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in energy, mood, activity levels, and the ability to carry out every day tasks. It is also recognized as a mani-depressive illness wherein one minute you feel euphoric the next minute you fell depressed and tend to be suicidal.
