The Pilgrims were originally from a town in England called Scrooby, and were also known as the
a. Scrooby Protestants.
b. Scrooby Separatists.
c. Scrooby Anglicans.
d. Scrooby Catholics.

Respuesta :

The best answer is B.

The Separatist church congregation that established  Plymouth colony in New England was originally centered around the town of Scrooby in Nottinghamshire, England.

Like others who refused to follow the Church of England's teachings, some of them  were harassed,  fined or even sent to jail. When they felt they could no longer suffer the these difficulties in England, they chose to flee to the Dutch Netherlands where they stayed for about 12 years before deciding to finally move to America out of fear of breakout of war between the Dutch and the Spanish.
