Isosceles triangles have two legs of the same length and the other (hypotenuse)  will be a different length.

The formula for the area of a triangle is
A=b*h/2

in this case ------------- > A=b*b/2
98=b
²/2------------- >b²=196- >b=14

b=14 in
we also know that
a
²+b²=c²- --------> c²=196+196=392-----> c=19.80 in

the leg lengths are
a=14 in
b=14 in
c=19.80 in
