But both have the following characteristics. 1) They both have DNA as their genetic material 2) They are membrane bound (prokaryotic cell walls are made of peptioglycan while eukaryotic cell walls are made of glycogen) 3) They both contain ribosomes 4) They have similar basic metabolism 5) They are diverse in forms.
