Without wind or animals (insects), pollination would not take place. Wind, insects and birds facilitate the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of the flower, and helps in cross-pollination.

-Not only do angiosperms use wind/insect pollination, their modified specifically for it! Plants that use wind pollination are designed to have a lot of light seeds that can be carried over large distances. Plants meant for bugs will have markings to attract them, or sweet sugary rewards.

-Pollination by insects and pollination by wind are the major advantages of angiosperms. Without them, they can't have their pollen transferred over long distances and fertilization cannot occur.
