Heated air inside a ballon causes it to rise up in the sky because of helium,helium is the second Antony number that has the lowest mass maybe when the air cools the balloon it causes osmosis to make it change its mass.

1.- When you heat the air, the particles inside the balloon will remain the same, but the volume will increase, so the density of the air inside the balloon will decrease.

2.- As the balloon rise up, the pressure area inside the balloon will be bigger because you increase the balloon volume in the same area (the cover of the balloon).
