Take 50 and divide it by 2, that will give you 25. Ming will have to play 25 hours of gaming time.
your equation would be y, being 500, = 200 + 20(x), with xbeing hours.

500=200+20x
subtract 200 from both sides
300=20x
divide each side by 20
x=15 He would have to spend 15 hours to get 500 points.
