Disssociative Identity Disorder or as it was previously known Multiple Personality Disorder is a mental disorder which was discovered in 1880 Paris by Dr. Jean-Martin Charcot. The symptoms originally included loss of consciousness fainting and convulsions. There is controversy of the disorders existence.
