Let x=odd number and x+2=the larger consecutive number

x+54=5 (x+2)
x+54=5x+10
-x+x+54=-x+5x+10
54=4x+10
-10+54=4x+10-10
44=4x
44/4=4x/4
11=x and x+2=11+2=13
11 and 13
