Consider the changes that the Colorado River has undergone, especially as it relates to human activity in the region and the environmental effects of that activity. What social and cultural actions are affecting the river? What changes might the people living in the southwestern U.S. need to adopt?

The garbage people dump in water can effect those waters & over time the sediments in the water have made it wider. Although industrialism uses a lot of that same water which is bad for peoples health, especially young kids.
