Which methods could you use to calculate the y-coordinate of the midpoint of a vertical line segment with endpoints at (0, 0) and (0, -12)?

CHECK ALL THAT APPLY!!!!!

A. Add the endpoints.
B. Count by hand.
C. Divide 12 by 2.
D. Divide –12 by 2.

Respuesta :

You could clearly count it by hand, although that wouldn't be the most efficient way. Since everything else is 0, dividing -12 by 0 would work to get -6, but since it's negative 12/2 would not work. You need to find the midpoint, not add the endpoints, which is why A doesn't work
