Judith is 5 years younger than Trina and 5 years older than Gretchen. The average of their ages is 23. How old is each woman?

Let Gretchen be x.
So Trina would be x+5.
And Judith would be (x+5)-5, which would be x.

Set the equation up like this:
(2x+(x+5))/3=23
3x+5=69
x=21

Gretchen and Judith are x, which is 21
Trina is x+5, which is 26
