Which of the following is an example of personification? A. They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: B. I gazed—and gazed—but little thought What wealth the show to me had brought: C. For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, D. And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils.

Respuesta :

the answer would be D, because youre giving the heart and daffodils human characteristics, like dancing
D I am pretty sure. Personification means to give an object an action that humans would do. Eg- the slices of bread jumped out of the toaster. Pieces of bread can't do that (obviously) but sometimes in English you give objects human traits just to make it a bit more interesting. I hope this helps!!!
