Spanish language is growing in Belize for two main reasons
First, because of its proximity to Spanish-speaking countries such as Mexico and the Central American countries and second, due to the majority of Hispanics inhabitans of Belize are Guatemalan, Salvadoran, Honduran and Yucatecan origin.
