Comparative is when a country can produce a good or service etc at a lower opportunity cost than another. Meaning that if they were to produce and fail they would not lose as much from their investment as anyone else would.
Absolute is when you don't have to use as much of 'x' thing to produce a product. Which therefore means you can produce more than any other country while still using less materials. For example, maybe I find a type of gas that is more efficient and so Americans only have to use half of what they used to. This means that lets say, people in England, will have to use twice the amount of gas we do, in order to fuel the same car. Hope this helps!
