The euro, which is used in most European Union nations, but not all, helps with trade, import and export and travel uses, as you do not need to change your money. These countries have many more economical ties than they did in the 17th Century and for work purposes and business within the majority of the continent, this has been a plus. The European Union is now regarded as a member organization consisting of countries which have very good ties with each other.
