This is function is the one of a parabola:
1) replace x by -3 & you will get the value of y that is 48
2) Do the same with x=2. then the value of y=-3
Now you have two paired point with (-3,48) & (2,-3)
So the Average Rate of change (or the slope) =(-3-48)/(2+3)
m=10.2 or 51/5
