Yesterday I slept earlier or early? which one i correct and why? please help anyone!

The sentence is worded incorrectly.  If you meant to say, "yesterday I woke up early" that would be the correct word.  If you wanted to say "yesterday I woke up earlier than usual" that is the correct word to use.
yesterday I slept early; would be correct because its making it past tense..
