living residentially meant you were close to factories, which mean there was little to no sanitation, and little sewers and pipes. It became overcrowded with people, and families (in one building) along with it. There was also poor ventilation of such, meaning that there was not much result for a good living. Also, there was a risk for high disease, meaning people got sick very easily. High Crime rates, high death rates. You name it. suburbanization could not protect the rich at all. and therefore it spread, as there were housing and sanitation codes. I could go on all day but these are the main things that affected the living conditions and what the living conditions were like
