The personality attribute of conscientiousness is being watchful or diligent. The idea of being conscientious is to want to perform something properly and to take your responsibilities to others seriously. They have a propensity for self-control, duty, and goal-setting; they act more deliberately than accidentally; and they are typically trustworthy.
