The second step in the 3 x 3 writing process is writing. Here's where you start truly putting your thoughts into words. During the prewriting phase, you've already created an outline; the next step is to develop your thoughts.
The third and final step in the 3 x 3 writing process is revision. You already have a draft of your work at this point, but you still need to polish it. Your initial manuscript becomes your final draft at this point, which is what you submit to your readers. The remaining three responsibilities are to modify, proofread, and evaluate.
