Find the slope passong between the points
(-1, 3) and (4, -7)
We will use the following formula
[tex]m=\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}[/tex][tex]\begin{gathered} m=\frac{-7-3}{4-(-1)} \\ m=\frac{-10}{5} \\ m=2 \end{gathered}[/tex](-1, 3) and (4, -7) the slope would be 2
Now, for ( 3, 2) and (6, 5)
[tex]\begin{gathered} m=\frac{5-2}{6-3} \\ m=\frac{3}{3} \\ m=1 \end{gathered}[/tex]for ( 3, 2) and (6, 5) the slope would be 1
