To find the surface area we can find the area of each face and sum them

the we find the area of each face, whe have 3 triangles around and a triangle on base

Triangles around are the same triangle then I calculate one area

area

[tex]\begin{gathered} A=\frac{b\times h}{2} \\ \\ A=\frac{6\times7.2}{2} \\ \\ A=\frac{43.2}{2}=21.6 \end{gathered}[/tex]

area of this face is 21.6sqaure yd

Base triangle

area

[tex]\begin{gathered} A=\frac{b\times h}{2} \\ \\ A=\frac{6\times5.2}{2} \\ \\ A=\frac{31.2}{2}=15.6 \end{gathered}[/tex]

area of this face is 15.6 sqaure yd

Surface

we sum the area of each face, 3 Frist triangles and the triangle of the base

[tex]\begin{gathered} S=3(21.6)+15.6 \\ S=64.8+15.6 \\ S=80.4 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Total surface area is 80.4 square yards
