Logarithmic Equations
Some equations require the application of the properties of logarithms to solve.
We need to recall the following basic property:
[tex]\begin{gathered} Given\colon \\ \log _ba=p \\ \text{Then:} \\ b^p=a \end{gathered}[/tex]
We are given the equation:
[tex]\log _6x=2[/tex]
Applying the property written above:
[tex]6^2=x[/tex]
Or, equivalently:
x = 36
Answer: 1) 36
