Now we find the shrinking factor of 32 to 24. so we get,

Solving we get,

[tex]\begin{gathered} x=\frac{32}{24} \\ x=\frac{16}{12} \\ x=\frac{8}{6} \\ x=\frac{4}{3} \end{gathered}[/tex]

So now with the help of shrinking factor we shrink 16cm. so we get,

[tex]16\times\frac{4}{3}=\frac{64}{3}=21.9[/tex]

So the required value of x is 21.9
