From the given function;

[tex]\begin{gathered} f(x)=ax^2+bx+c \\ f(x)=-2x^2+12x-15 \\ a=-2,b=12,c=-15 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Thus, the axis of symmetry is;

[tex]\begin{gathered} x=-\frac{12}{2(-2)} \\ x=-\frac{12}{-4} \\ x=3 \end{gathered}[/tex]
