Given:

[tex]y=3^x[/tex]

At x = 0 then value of y is:

[tex]\begin{gathered} y=3^x \\ x=0 \\ y=3^0 \\ y=1 \end{gathered}[/tex]

If the value of x is negative then:

[tex]\begin{gathered} y=3^{-x} \\ y=\frac{1}{3^x} \end{gathered}[/tex]

So the value of y is decrease but not equal to zero.

If the value of x is positive and increase then the value "y" is rapidly increase.

So the graph is:

Three point of graph is:

First point is (0,1)

second point as x = 2 then y is:

[tex]\begin{gathered} y=3^x \\ y=3^2 \\ y=9 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So the second point is (2,9)

Thirds point is:

[tex]\begin{gathered} y=3^x \\ x\text{ = -2} \\ y=3^{-2} \\ y=0.111 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So point is (-2,0.11)
