I need help with this math problom in 10 mins Ever square tile on a kitchen counter has an area of 7/8 square inches. if there are 6 tiles, what is the total area of the kitchen counter in quare inches

∵ The area of each square tile = 7/8 square inches

∵ There are 6 tiles

∴ The total area =

[tex]\frac{7}{8}\times6=\frac{42}{8}[/tex]

Divide up and down by 2 to simplify it

[tex]\therefore A=\frac{21}{4}=5.25[/tex]

The total area is 5.25 square inches
