Advantages of solar appliance:
- Reliable (important in order not to depend on fossil fuels)
- Economical (in the sens that the nergy of the sum is very high)
- Renewable energy source
- Low emission
Disvantages:
- Uses a lot of space (big zones are required to put the solar cells to absorb solar energy)
- Weather dependent (it only convert solar energy to electric energy on sunny days)
- Low energy conversion rate (only a few percent of the energy of the light of the sun is converted to electric energy)
