Let the tablespoons of lemon juice be x.

[tex]\frac{50}{5}=\frac{x}{4}\\\\10=\frac{x}{4}\\ \\ x=40[/tex]

40 tablespoons is equal to 2.5 cups.

Part (b)

Let the pints of olive oil be y.

[tex]\frac{50}{5}=\frac{y}{1/2}\\\\10=\frac{y}{1/2}\\\\y=5[/tex]

5 cups is equal to 2.5 pints.
