Capillaries and venules are the blood vessels which lack elastic tissue.
There are three main types of blood vessels which are arteries, veins, and capillaries.
As the arteries receive blood directly from the heart, which is highly pressured, hence they have maximum elasticity to take up the pressure. Due to elastic tissues, the artery has the capability to take up the pressure when the heart pumps blood.
Capillaries play a major role in the exchange of materials between blood and body parts. As they do not receive pressurized blood directly, hence their walls are not elastic.
Venules can be described as small veins that receive blood from the capillaries. The blood from the capillaries is low pressured hence the venules are also not elastic.
