During the late 1920's, the main reason american industry could not sell all the goods it produced was that depression firms began to draw down those inventories.

Fewer regulations and lower taxes helped manufacturers keep up with consumers in the 1920s. The invention of credit and the impressive use of advertisement propaganda led to the start of the era of consumerism.

One of the industries that changed american lives during the 1920´s was the industry of electricity; appart from lighting purposes this helped withe factories process. The car prooduction was a great industry of the time, a great example of mass production; this industry in particular made the economy grow as many jobs were created direct and indirectly(spare parts, gas stations,etc.).
