In football, a touchdown is worth 6 points and an extra point is worth 1. The Bears missed two extra
points in their last game, but still scored 40 points (all touchdowns and extra points, no field goals).
Write an equation to determine how many touchdowns they scored.

Let t be the number of touchdowns.
Let e be the number of extra points.
Let f be the number of field goals.
Equation = 6t + 4e

So the touchdowns would be 6.
