An extemporaneous presentation might leave the audience to think that the presenter is a genius as he/she will use few notes and will be appeared to know everything about that particular topic.
But for making it happen the presenter must rehearse their speech for timing, rhythm and flow. It may not be quickly done, for a matter of fact finding and researching about the same topic before the presentation is really important.
The extemporaneous speech can be said a perfect balance as it involves the speaker's use of notes and certain certain embellishment to deliver a speech. This type of speech has loose guidelines that certainly means that the presenter did not have to memorize anything. He/ she will use their knowledge on the topic and hints or cues to carry on with their presentation.
