The socialisation of male ideas begins at an early age and defines ideal masculinity as related to stoicism, a lack of emotional sensitivity, self-sufficient attitudes, and toughness (Wall & Kristiansen, 2005). It also emphasises connectivity.

This process of informing and teaching both men and women on the standards, customs, and values that are associated with belonging to the male or female gender. This condition is known as male socialisation. According to this norms male engage in risky behaviour because that norms are associate with men and at the end man became the victim.
