A number of hockey player are standing evenly spaced in a circle. If the 4th player is opposite the 9th player. How many hockey players are there?

you would do 9-4=5 
so then it would need to be 10-5=5,6-1=5,7-2=5,8-3=5,9-4=5. 
there is a difference of 5
there would be 10 hockey players
