A youngster is a person who is elder than a child. it is the age span of 10 years to 16 years when an individual is considered a youngster.
Cognitive development is the phase in the life of a youngster where his/her mental development starts. It occurs in the phase of concrete operative in a youngster where the ages are from 7 years to 11 years. In the phase of cognitive development, the individual obtains social experiences and learns to adapt to the environment which is necessary for getting positive social attitudes.
Therefore, the youngsters become hesitant to consider themselves responsible citizens due to social and cognitive factors.
