Marlie is creating a scale model of this building, using the scale 250 meters : 1 meter.

To the nearest tenth of a meter, what will be the height of the scale model?

on his scale, it must be 212/250 = .848 and so approx equal to .85 m !!

250 divided by 212 equals 1.17; so the scale height will be about 1.2 meters hi.
