The part of the Gettysburg Address that shows that Lincoln wishes to unite the North and South is "...for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work..."
By saying that there was some unfinished work to be done, Lincoln was alluding to efforts to reunite the nation.
The unfinished work he alluded to was that of defeating the rebellion by the Southern states, and reuniting them with the North.
