I don’t have much work to do around the house like some girls. My mother does that. And I don’t have to earn my pocket money by hustling; George runs errands for the big boys and sells Christmas cards. And anything else that’s got to get done, my father does. All I have to do in life is mind my brother Raymond, which is enough. Which BEST states the main idea of this paragraph? Question 2 options: A) The narrator loves her brother. B) The narrator has many chores assigned to her at home. C) The narrator's main responsibility is to take care of her brother. D) Sibling relationships Save

Respuesta :

Alrighty, so, I believe the correct answer is C.) The narrator doesn't hint that she loves her brother, the narrator says she doesn't have any chores and D just sounds odd. C) Makes the most sense to me!

Hope this helps!! (:
The answer to this would be the third choice, C. the narrator's main responsibility is to take care of her brother.
It couldn't be the first choice because the narrator mentions nothing about loving her brother, or any other member of her family.
It couldn't be the second choice, as she clearly stated that, "I don't have much work to do around the house like some girls."
It couldn't be the fourth choice because the narrator doesn't really go into detail about her relationship with her siblings. The paragraph is about what the members of the narrator's family do, what their "jobs" are.
