Two different containers with coins each have a volume of 500 mL. One container is full of quarters and the other container is full of pennies. What will happen to the volume if all of the coins are transferred into separate 1 L containers?

since there's 1000 milliliters for every liter, than your looking at the coins filling 2 - 1/2 liters or 1/2 of one liter each(quarters, pennies). I believe that the volume would be the same matter what container the coins are in. but in mass I would say the quarters.
