An additive inver is a number you can add to another to get zero. An example is the additive inverse of 2 is -2. Ghat is because if I add 2 to -2, I get 0.

To find the additive inverse I simply switch the negative or positive sign.

This means that the additive inverse of .75 is -.75.

If add them together I get 0 every time.
