In my belief, I personally prefer having paper money. The reason why I prefer paper money is because it’ll be on you at all times when you go out. For example, having technology devices might go wrong when you pay for something. Although, cash cannot go wrong because you know the amount you have on you, and can easily pay it without having a debt, etc.
Advantages of the paper currency are that it's easy to use and cheap to produce and can be created on-demand. Disadvantages are that it is fragile and its value is subject to inflation and changes in public confidence.
