Is there a way to solve for f(x)=0 for the following f(x)=6xsquared -3x -5?
I can complete the square but is there another way to solve this?

You could use the quadratic formula for it.
You can change the f(x)=6x^2-3(0)-5 into 0= 6x^2 + 0x - 5
Which is in the form of 0= ax^2 + bx + c
And plug the numbers into the quadratic formula
