The various acts of legislation, America's growth and emergence as a powerful country provides new authority and power to the president of the United States of America. Former President Trump is wrong by saying that he can do whatever he wants due to Article II in the Constitution because President is also subject to the law of the country. He also says true that according to Article Two, the president serves as the commander-in-chief of the military and has ultimate powers.
